Rebirth brings back everything that the original game had and much much more, including 350+ new items, 10 playable characters, 100+ new enemies, over 50 bosses and tons of new secrets to find. Made in a completely new shiny C++ based engine, Rebirth overcomes a lot of the downfalls from the original game, which suffered as it took the Flash engine to its limits. Much like the original, the game is a randomly developed action RPG with rogue-like elements, however with Rebirth the art (as well as the entire game) has been revamped and remake with a pixel art 16-bit style in mind. Epic Fetus overrides most items in the game and has the highest priority of all tear modifiers. Pressing the fire buttons spawns a crosshair that can be moved freely, summoning a missile to its position from above 1.5 seconds later. Isaac's tears are replaced with guided missiles. It was designed by Edmund McMillen and produced and developed by Nicalis for Steam, PS4 and Playstation Vita, with possibilities of future Nintendo and Xbox console ports.
